Logline

When tragedy befalls his family, ten-year-old Howard decides to build a rocket ship to launch his way out of the past.

Synopsis

Ten-year-old Howard is a budding scientist. His sister Erin has a disease that requires she live her whole life sealed inside a plastic bubble. When she dies and Howard thinks it’s his fault, he decides to build a rocket ship that she designed. The trouble is the rocket ship is of a fantastical design based more on Erin’s crazy imagination then on scientific principles. But, with help from his best friend Billy, not to mention a Moon Rock and some Lighter Fluid, Howard learns that good science must start with a heart-felt dream.

Synopsis (50 words)
